Danny started pre-production on “Even If” on August 1, 2006.
"Even If" is a fifteen (24) minute short drama which he wrote and is
produced and directed. Thanks to Jay Laisne coming on board to not
only executive produce the project but he also is starred in the film as
“Roger”. Other cast members include, Ami Dolenz as Roger's wife
"Kate", Ben Campbell who performed as Jay’s son “Matt” in this
powerful drama and Patrick McDonald who played Ben’s high school
friend “Seth”. Jay’s little boy Julian will also made his acting début
at age six playing “Roger’s” son “Matt”.
Danny is very excited to have worked on this film with amazing crew
members like cinematographer Taylor Wigton, 447 productions,
Holly Williamson was head of the wardrobe department, Jo Crowly
and Stephanie Bravo were around to take care of Make-up and Hair,
Tim Parks made the trip in from Arizona to take on the difficult task
of running the art department and Shian Boyd was around as always
as script supervisor to keep Danny in check. Danny is also proud to
have brought on associate producers Kristian Steeler and Liz
Novotny to help with the post production financing of the film.
Shooting began on October 16, 2006 at 7AM and Wrapped October 19,
2006 at 7:22 PM.
The film was completed and read for viewing in December of 2006
